People always say that if you miss someone so much that you should look up at the moon. It's funny that no matter how far away you are from the people you love, we're still under the same sky. Although we're under the same sun, you can't really look into that without becoming blind. So we rely on the moon to soak up our love and give us hope that maybe... just maybe... the person you love is staring up at the moon at the same instant you are. And if they are, for a single moment, you feel like you are with that person...
So the next time you hear the people you love tell you that "I miss you", tell them to look up at the moon. Then maybe, just maybe, you'll be staring at it too. Download for Fullview *cough* I'm sorry, but I had to get that out of my system. Cause I do this allot when I can't sleep. I think allot (believe it or not) about the people I miss. The people I can't hug or touch, to kiss and love. And wish that someday I'll be able to see them. So I drew this :3 It's me... looking up at the moon. I have to say that I am a little proud of this one... (surprisingly) but I did try a few new tricks with it. Including freaking the hell out of myself while drawing the reflection in the glass... And yes! You may recognize the moon and a few of the clouds from my recent art of Gargoyle Seline because I was proud of the whole background. And since it is my own creation, I could use it again in this one. I tried going the "Line-less" way when doing this so there is absolutely no line art in this one to try and give it that 'real' look to it. The picture was originally longer, to show my jeans but.. I found it not to be necessary and distracted from the main focus, which is me and da moon, so I cropped it out. Anyway! I hope you enjoy it and I hope you didn't mind me venting my feelings up there :3 Edit I redid a few things so I can print this off and put it in my personal lil portfolio :3 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Photoshop CS3 Time: 2 Hours Art (C) =dark-magician-nikoru |
